Bethune residence has the capacity to hold up to 260 undergraduates. The 2nd to the 6th floor are all suite style rooms with 4 and 12 person suites. However, if you prefer more of a traditional style room where you are able to spend more time with your friends, you can choose from floors 7 through 14.

2)  Calumet Residence

The Calumet Residence is a residence that pays tribute to its Aboriginal beginnings. Calumet is a Native American Term for Peace Pipe. The seven houses that make up this residence are even named after animals that were original inhabitants of the area such as Wolf, Loon, Bear, etc. Each house host 22 to 44 students.

3) Founders Residence

As the only building with suites that accommodate two people with full kitchens, Pond Road Residence has to has the least availability. This Residence is spacious and peaceful. Yet, you still have the ability to make friends and enjoy time with your peers, especially at their fun event nights!

Modernized in architectural structure, the Alan Earp Residence can be categorized as one of the most beautiful buildings on campus. This residence houses up to 255 students. It is a Semi-suite setting, so, that means that two rooms are connected through the joint washrooms.

2) Decrew Residence

Decrew Residence can service up to 414 students. It is the only traditional style building. Students get assistance from housekeepers in performing basic cleaning for the hallways, lounges, and bathrooms.

Built in 2003, this building was created in semi-suite style. There are single rooms and double rooms that share bathrooms. Also, Arnie Lowenberger Residence has four floors in its beautiful structure with a special additive on the top floor that allows you to peer out over the campus through a better view.

5) Quarry View Residence

Quarry View Residence may just be the most convenient location. These beautiful townhouses are located across the road from the main campus. For convenience, all of the rooms are furnished and have two washrooms, living/dining areas, and a kitchen. There are 290 rooms available.

6) Gordon and Betty Vallee Residence

Gordon and Betty Vallee Residence was built in the semi-suite style with single rooms that share bathrooms.  There are six halls available for residency with large lounge areas for students to enjoy. Right out front is also a beautiful Gazebo for outdoor enjoyment.

Named after Queen Victoria, this hall was truly built for a queen. Upon planning to open this residential hall, the school had to make special accommodations by Opening it up to residents in two stages. The Victoria Hall is the largest residence hall on campus, housing nearly 900 students. It is a co-ed facility.

2) Adelaide Hall

In honor of the wife of one of Queen’s University’s greatest contributors, R. S. McLaughlin, Adelaide Hall is named after Adelaide McLaughlin. To those that know and love this hall, her name is Addy. It is the second oldest residence on campus with room to sleep 115 young ladies.

3) Ban Righ Hall

This Hall holds the title of being a foundational residence of Queen’s University for many reasons. First and foremost, Ban Righ hall was the first place of Residence on campus. Second, in order to expand the campus with this the raised funds to build through teas, bake sales, bridge parties, etc. Enjoy the beautiful vintage infrastructure while basking in the modern campus life.

4) McNeill House

This House was named after Queen’s University’s former Vice-President, William Everett McNeill. In 2006, the building was renovated and given a more modern twist. McNeill House is co-ed and holds up to 220 residents. The rooms are a fair size also.

5) David C Smith House

The David C. Smith House is one of the newest buildings on campus. Built September 2015, only upperclassmen have dibs on this residential hall. With its modern look and convenient location, who wouldn’t want an opportunity to reside in these rooms.

6) Brant House

With one of the most unique designs on campus, the Brant house has to be one of the best places on campus to live. It appears to levitate off of the ground, created with a portion of the building that is in the shape of a massive glass cube.
