1. Village 1

This was the first residence built on the campus of the University of Waterloo. This residence is where many of the first year students reside. It can hold up to 1381 residents

2. Ron Eydt Village

This residence is strictly and exclusively reserved for the freshman. It consists of 960 residents with each room having a double bed. This residence is co-ed.

3. Claudette Millar Hall

Address: 165 University Ave W, Waterloo, ON N2L 3E9, Canada

This residence is located in the center of the University of Waterloo. It is available to both freshmen and upper-level students. It contains both single and semi-private bedrooms and can hold up to 530 residents.

4. Mackenzie King Village

Mackenzie King Village at the University of Waterloo

This residence has only 4 bedroom suites in it. It has a living area and individual kitchens for each suite. Its mascot is a crown and it can hold up to 320 students.

5. UW Place

UW Place at the University of Waterloo

This is a series of apartments that both freshmen and upper-level students can live in. Their mascot is the unicorn and the floors are co-ed. There is no meal plan restrictions for residents that live here, it is only optional.

6. Columbia Lake Village-South

]This is a townhouse-based residence. Up to 400 residents live here in fully furnished rooms. The mascot for this residence is the Lake Monster.

7. Columbia Lake Village-North

This is a townhouse based residence but it is only reserved for single graduates and students who have families. The rooms for the single graduates are furnished, however, the rooms for the students with families are not. It can take up to 404 residents.

8. Velocity Residence

This is a residence only for those students have an interest in entrepreneurship. It is filled with study areas and common areas for education and social interaction. The rooms are spacious and includes a mini-fridge.
