Living on campus is an exciting aspect of the college experience. Each residence hall at Drexel University has its own distinctive features and amenities, but all offer common recreation and study lounges, kitchens, and laundry facilities. Individual rooms are equipped to provide cable television and Internet access. Here are some of the residential halls within the institution.
1. CANERIS HALL
Residence Address: 115 N. 32nd Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
Caneris Hall houses both freshmen and upperclassmen students. The hall consists of 4 and 6 person suites that house 2 people per bedroom. Bathrooms include separate shower rooms with sinks. The common room includes sofa, coffee table, chair and three bar stools. There is a kitchen on each floor. The kitchens on floors 2-7 have two stoves, two ovens and a sink. Kitchens on Floor 1 has one stove, one oven and one sink.
2. KELLY HALL
Residence Address: 203 N. 34th Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
The hall houses freshmen students in traditional double rooms that are gender separated by floor. The rooms are tiled while the corridors are carpeted. The hall has communal bathroom that are gender specific with several showers, toilets and sinks. There are kitchens on floors 2-10 that have a freezer, stove, oven and sink. Other features include A/C and heat, laundry room, and elevators.
3. MILLENNIUM HALL
Residence Address: 223 N. 34th Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
The 17 story building houses freshmen students in traditional double rooms. There are two individual lockable full bathrooms, six single occupancy toilets, six single occupancy showers from the second to the sixteenth floor. The seventeenth floor has one full bathroom, three single occupancy toilets and three single occupancy showers. Each floor has two open sink banks in the hallway. The hall has communal kitchens with a fridge, sink, stove and oven from the second floor through to the seventeenth.
4. MYERS HALL
Residence Address: 3301 Race Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
Myers hall is a 3 story building and is home to freshmen students. The hall houses residents in traditional double rooms where male and female residents are on the same floor. There are six communal bathrooms on each floor with several showers, toilets and sinks. Each wing of the hall has a full kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, sink and stove. There are two Laundry rooms per floor with several washers and dryers. Other notable features include a self-regulated central AC and heat and Wi-Fi.
5. NORTH HALL
Residence Address: 3200 Race Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
The North Hall is a six story building that features a spiral staircase in the center of the building which connects the east and west wings. The hall houses freshmen students in 4 and 6 person same gender suites. The bathroom in the 4 person suite includes separate shower room with sink. The 6 person suite has a bathroom that includes a separate shower room with two stalls and a bathroom with two toilets. There are sinks outside both rooms. Floors 2-5 have two kitchens equipped with a stove, oven, sink, table and chairs. The first, sixth and and the basement level have one kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, sink, table and chairs.
6. RACE STREET RESIDENCES
Residence Address: 3300 Race Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
The residence is an eleven story building that houses students in 4 person same gender suites
Same gender suites. The suites have bathrooms that contain a separate shower room with sink outside, and bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Community kitchens are available on floors 2-11 and have a stove, oven, sink, tables and chairs. The laundry room is centrally located on the first floor. Other feature include 3 elevators in the hallway, Wi-Fi, and self regulated central AC and heat.
7. STILES HALL
Residence Address: 325 N. 15th Street Philadelphia, PA 19102
Stiles Hall is conveniently located across from the library, hospital and classroom buildings of the Center City campus. It is an eleven story building with two elevators at the hallway. It is home to upperclassmen and graduate Students. The hall contains 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments where each student receives their own bedroom. All apartments have a bathroom with sink, mirror, toilet, shower and a full kitchen with full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, sink and cabinets. A laundry room is located on each floor.
8. TOWERS HALL
Residence Address: 101 N 34th Street Philadelphia, PA 19104
The Towers hall houses freshmen students in traditional double rooms where male and females residents are housed in different floors. There are communal bathrooms with several showers, toilets and sinks. The kitchens are on floors 3-15 and have a freezer, stove, oven, sink, table and chairs. A laundry room is located on the second floor. There is a study lounge on the second floor and a multipurpose lounge on the first. The first floor through to the fifteenth each have a large lounge with a TV.
9. VAN RENSSELAER HALL
Residence Address: 3320 Powelton Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19104
Van Rensselaer hall is an eleven story building that houses residents in 3 or 4 person same gender suites. Each suite is equipped with a bathroom containing one shower, toilet, sink and a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven and sink. A laundry room is located on the basement level. The basement level has a social lounge with gaming equipment, a TV and an indoor bike storage. The ballroom is located on Floor 1 and has a baby grand piano.
