Student housing at the University of Florida is managed by the Division of Student Affairs. It provides housing for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on and off-campus. Approximately 8,100 students live in single-student residence halls. Nearly 1,600 students and their families also live on campus in 980 apartments arranged in Village Communities. Here are some of the housing facilities at the University.

1. Beaty Towers

Beaty Towers offers apartment-style living for 787 students. Each suite has two bedrooms, a private bathroom, a study and a kitchenette. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, stove, oven, and garbage disposal. Each room has dressers, desks, and built-in closets. The beds in Beaty Towers can be bunked or separated.

Broward Hall offers a wide range of room styles including single, double, and triple. The hall hosts 690 undergraduate students. Each floor has a dedicated Resident Assistant to promote safety and a social environment. Additionally, the common area kitchen on each floor includes a microwave, range, and stove. Students will be required to bring their own in-room refrigerators.

3. Buckman Hall

Buckman Hall is located in the historic district (one of the most beautiful areas on campus.) As one of the oldest buildings on campus, no two rooms in this residence halls are the same. The hall offers a wide array of housing styles including single, double, and triple rooms to 126 undergraduate students. The common area kitchen on each floor includes a microwave and stove. Each floor has a dedicated Resident Assistant to promote safety and a social environment.

4. Fletcher Hall

Fletcher Hall is also located in the historic district. The hall is home to 166 undergraduate students and offers a wide array of housing styles including single, double, and triple rooms. The common area kitchen on each floor includes a microwave and stove.  There is a dedicated Resident Assistant on each floor that  promotes safety and ensures that there is a social environment.

The Hume Honors Residential College is exclusively for students in the UF Honors Program.This suite style hall offers single and double rooms to 590 students. Each floor has a dedicated Resident Assistant to promote safety and a social environment. Additionally, the common area kitchen on each floor includes a microwave and stove.

6. Lakeside Complex

Lakeside Complex is located near Lake Alice, the “Bat-House” observatory, and the Southwest Recreation Center. Lakeside Residential Complex is designed for students who prefer more personal privacy as well as the opportunity to share common social and recreational space with other students. Each apartment has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. Lakeside is not open 24/7 but has a resident Assistant on-call for after-hours lockouts.

7. East Hall

East Hall is a traditional style residence hall offering double and triple rooms to 210 undergraduate students. Additionally, the common area kitchen on each floor includes a microwave and stove. Each floor has a dedicated Resident Assistant to promote safety and a social environment.

8. Corry Village

Corry Village located in the heart of the University of Florida campus near the UF Law School, Baby Gator, UF Agricultural Gardens, and the beautiful Lake Alice. Corry has One-Bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and is home for 216 graduate students and students with family. Corry features fun playgrounds and resident parking. Some Corry residents have gas service for heating and cooking from Gainesville Regional Utilities. Residential apartments include a kitchen with range, oven, and full-size refrigerator. Residents need to supply their furniture.

9. Cypress Hall

Cypress Hall offers a wide range of room styles including Single Suites, Double Suites, and Super Suites. The hall is home to 255 undergraduate students. Each floor has a dedicated Resident Assistant to promote safety and a social environment. Additionally, the common area kitchen on each floor includes a stove and oven. Students need to supply their in-room microwave and refrigerator.

10. Diamond Village

Diamond Village is located near the UF College of Medicine, Baby Gator, and UF Health. It houses 208 graduate students and students that wish to live with family. Diamond Village features two-story buildings with fun playgrounds and resident parking. The residential apartments have either one bedroom or two bedrooms and include a kitchen with range, oven, and full-size refrigerator. Residents need to supply their furniture.
