The American College of Greece

Class is almost in session which means that students are getting ready to take on loads of classwork. This also means that students are still picking out their courses to finalize their class schedules. Below we have listed ten of the easiest courses at The American College of Greece.

1. DR 2003 – LE The Making of Theater

Are you a theater person? This class will teach students about creating a good performance as an actor or actress on stage. Students will learn about the theater through a socio-historical context. This includes learning about the roles of characters and the role of the director.

2. DA 2018 -LE Body Awareness and Movement 

This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of body movement and being aware of your own movement. Students will learn about working to express your feelings physically and the variation of movement and range.

3. CH 1002-  LE Principles of Chemistry

Do we have chemistry? This class will introduce students to the basic concepts of chemistry in everyday life. Students will learn about chemical reactions, atomic theory, chemical bonding, different states of matter, and nuclear chemistry.

4. AS 1000 – LE Introduction to Astronomy

In this class, students will learn about the fundamentals of astronomy. Students will learn about solar systems. planets, the origin of the universe, star life, and different galaxies that are throughout the universe we live in.

5. AH 1000 – LE Introduction to Archaeology

Let’s dig deep through history. This class will introduce students to common practices, methods of research, and the principles of archaeology. This class will have an emphasis on the Mediterranean world.

6. PE 1001 – Swimming

Let’s dive deep into the water! This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of swimming. Students will learn about free styling, backstroke, breast stroke, side stroke, doggy paddling, and butterfly. Students will also learn about underwater swimming and turning in the water.

7. PH 1000 – LE Introduction to Philosophy 

Do you question the space you live and breathe in? This class will introduce students to the principles and history of philosophy. Students will learn about reality, finding the truth, fantasy, and how philosophy influences the world we live in.

8. CN 2202 – Writing for Mass Communication 

How do you communicate with people? This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of writing in different levels of mass communication. Students will learn about crafting messages, examining messages, and basic media writing techniques

9. ES 1005 – LE Contemporary Environmental Issues

In this course, students will learn about the fundamentals of the environment and contemporary issues that relate to the environment. This class will teach students about building sustainable environments, sustainable solutions, and the role of humans on Earth.

10. EC 1000 -Principles of Microeconomics 

Do you know where your money goes when you spend it? This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of microeconomics. Students will learn about costs, production, and theoretical practices in the environment. This class will also touch base on pricing.
